Hi, I'm Dasha

I'm a yoga teacher, movement guide, and sound healing practitioner — and I started this practice for the same reason many of my students find their way to me: I needed a way back to myself.

My journey began with Vinyasa yoga, which I trained in Amsterdam after years of personal practice. From there, curiosity took me to Rishikesh, India, for a deep immersion in traditional Hatha yoga. More recently, I had the privilege of studying Yin yoga with the renowned indian teacher — a practice that changed everything I thought I understood about rest, release, and the body's innate wisdom.

What I've learned through all of it is this: yoga isn't just about the poses. It's about creating space — in the body, in the breath, and in the mind. Every class I teach is built around that idea.

My guiding principles

Make It Accessible

Yoga is an inclusive practice at its core. I always offer modifications — to deepen a pose or to ease it. You never have to worry about 'keeping up'.

Keep It Holistic

We work with the whole person, not just the body. Classes weave in breathwork (pranayama), meditation, and where relevant, mantra — because the practice is richer when it's complete.

Stay Playful

Yoga doesn't have to be serious. I love bringing a sense of curiosity and joy into the practice — trying things, laughing when we wobble, and remembering that play is how we learn best. We stay safe, we stay grounded, and we have fun getting there.

Classes & Offerings

Whether you're brand new to yoga or have been on the mat for years, there's a place for you here. All classes weave together movement, breath, and stillness in their own way — because the body knows what it needs, and I'm here to help you listen.

Slow & Grounding Flow  —  Gentle Vinyasa

A mindful flow that moves at the pace of your breath. No rushing, no striving — just a steady, grounded sequence designed to help you feel more at home in your body. Some classes include breathwork and mantra. This is the class for days when you need movement but not intensity.

Great for: beginners, low-energy days, building a sustainable practice, a gentle re-entry

Releasing  —  Stress Release Class

This is one of my most personal offerings. Releasing draws from four traditions — Yoga Nidra, self-massage, Hatha asana, and Yin — woven together to help you genuinely let go. It's for the moments when you're carrying too much, and you need more than a stretch. Expect to leave feeling lighter.

Great for: stress & anxiety, emotional weight, physical tension, anyone running on empty

Rest & Recharge  —  Yin & Restorative Yoga

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is soften. Rest & Recharge is a slow, floor-based practice that works with long-held postures to release deep tension in the connective tissue and calm the nervous system. Drawing on my training with Indian Yin yoga teacher Ira Tridevi, this class is a quiet invitation to turn inward — and stay there for a while.

Great for: stress & burnout, tight hips or lower back, winding down, those craving permission to rest

Vinyasa Flow  —  Active & Dynamic

The classic, rhythmic practice. We move with intention through a flowing sequence of poses — building heat, strength, and presence. This is an all-levels class, with options to deepen or soften every posture along the way. Some classes include breathwork and mantra.

Great for: building strength and flexibility, active minds, those who love a challenge

Special Class  —  Movement & Sound Healing

My signature offering. We begin with gentle movement and breath to open the body and settle the mind. As the physical practice winds down, we move into a deep sound healing journey — guided by my collection of instruments: tongue drum, crystal singing bowl (tuned to the heart chakra), African shells, shaking eggs, shruti box, and tingsha bells.

Sound reaches the parts of us that words and movement can't always touch. This class is an invitation to experience that — fully, and at your own depth.

Great for: deep release, emotional reset, curiosity about sound healing, a truly holistic experience
